The British Columbia New Democratic Party is committed to protecting the privacy of our members, supporters and stakeholders. The B.C. NDP values the trust and support of our supporters and recognizes that maintaining this requires that we be open and accountable in how we treat the information you chose to share with us. While using our web site, you do not have to identify yourself or divulge personal information, except when you provide such information on a voluntary basis.
In our continuing quest to build a better British Columbia, raise funds and build a strong base of support, the B.C. NDP gathers and uses personal information. The B.C. NDP complies with, and endeavours to, exceed the requirements of federal and provincial law.
The privacy of our supporters' personal information is never compromised. Our web site has technological and operational security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, alteration or unintentional destruction of the information under our control. Joining the NDP
We invite British Columbians to join the B.C. New Democratic Party. This information is collected for the purposes of contacting individuals for support, fundraising and membership.
Email campaigns
From time to time, we appeal to British Columbians to contribute financial support or send a message to help influence key decision makers. Personal information that is voluntarily supplied by an individual will be collected and forwarded on to the decision maker or makers that are identified in the appeal. Individuals who sign on to email campaigns will also receive important updates, information and occasional fundraising appeals from the B.C. NDP. At any time, individuals may discontinue receiving these messages by unsubscribing in the message or contacting bcndp@bcndp.ca.
E-newsletters
From time to time, we send out electronic newsletters to our database of contacts. At any time, individuals may remove themselves from the list of recipients by contacting bcndp@bcndp.ca.
Storage of information
The B.C. NDP employs all reasonable security safeguards to protect against the loss, misuse, or interception by third parties of information provided to the B.C. NDP. The B.C. NDP will destroy all personal records when retention is no longer necessary for legal, campaign, or other business purposes.

At any time, individuals may request access to, correction, or deletion of their personal information.
